Hier soir I remembered about the website TV5Monde et le programme 7 jours sur le planète - un journal télévisé hebdomadaire pour apprendre en s'informant.
What I like about this particular programme is that it allows me to tester (interroger) mon niveau of understanding about the short news clips it presents. You can choose from three different levels: élémentaire (A2), intermédiaire (B1), et avancé (B2).
Par exemple, hier soir j'ai regardé une séquence intitulé « Élection présidentielle: en route vers le second tour. » Après avoir regardé le sequence, j'ai répondu aux questions des niveaux intermédiaire (B1) et avancé (B2).
I liked being able to check my understanding. I got most of the B1 questions correct, and missed a few of the B2 questions, but I could do them all correctly when I read the transcript, which is also provided.
This is a great free resource for practicing le français while listening to the news.
Maintenant, je vais regarder le séquence intitulé «Quand les français est minoritaire au Canada. » Modernisation de la loi sur les langues officielles: la bataille reprend au Canada.
